The happening, a dream in its infancy.
In 1979, two young priests, Fr. Bento and Fr. J. A. Carvalho, were entrusted with spreading the mission of the Agnel Ashram in New Delhi. Despite limited resources and being far from the familiar grounds of Goa and Mumbai, they were driven by a deep passion for their country. With the guidance of Fr. F. Diniz for the first two years and the support of a dedicated group of teachers, they overcame challenges and laid the foundation for what would become a thriving institution.
9 children are welcomed by their teacher, Mrs. H. D'souza and Fr. F. Diniz into their new school. There was something different about this school, even in its nascent stage, it showed the promise of having the courage to break the mould and set new standards.
Agnel Darpan Story
