Designing the Future: Insights from Architect Ankit Lodha

The school recently had the privilege of hosting Ankit Lodha, a 2002 batch alumnus and renowned architect, for an engaging coffee session. With over 16 years of experience, Mr. Lodha has worked on an impressive array of projects, including campuses, metro stations, residential high-rises, and more. His notable works include the Rapid Metro in Gurugram, Shikshantar School in Gurugram, IIPH in Hyderabad, IIM in Kozhikode, Godrej Infinity in Pune, and the manufacturing facility for Orient Electric in Hyderabad.

Mr. Lodha also shared his passion for technology, explaining how he is pioneering the use of AR and VR in design and construction. This insight captivated students, who were keen to learn about the potential of these innovations in shaping modern architecture.

The session was highly interactive, with students asking questions about career paths, courses to consider for graduation, and the best institutions to pursue architecture and design. Mr. Lodha’s answers provided clarity and inspiration, motivating students to explore the field with enthusiasm.
